SPACE AND PEOPLE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION IN MADRID
From 14 June to 30 August 2012 at the Edith Mbella Gallery in Madrid, an exhibition of a series of photographs by Isabel March titled “Space and People” took place.
Photographs told the story of the everyday life of the native tribes of Namibia. Photographs were created during a trip to Africa, which provided Isabel with many artistic inspirations. Fascinated with Africa, the photographer has created a project that consisted of life, culture and traditions of many African tribes.
The project “Space and People” included more than 50 photographs showing portraits of people – their facial features, similarities and differences in appearance, and the space in which they were set – an amazing landscape, the beauty of nature, and, on the other hand, the pervasive poverty.
