VERNISAGE OF ISABEL MARCH AT FABRYKA TRZCINY IN WARSAW
On January 31, 2011, a vernissage of PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES by Isabel March took place in Warsaw. The exhibition included three series of photos:
PASTISZE – The first photographic project by Isabel March. Portrait photographs refer to the most outstanding painting works. Model silhouettes, set design, as well as stylization and make-up are supposed to reflect the characters depicted in the paintings.
VENICE – The magic of Venice seen through the eyes of Isabel March. Photographs are a summary of many trips to Venice. In her works, the artist wanted to express her fondness and admiration for this magical city.
PAINTINGS OF SOUL – The main inspiration for Isabel March was the work of Andy Warhol and the character of Marylin Monroe. The artist combined these two inspirations creating amazing collages.
The exhibition lasted until February 20, 2011.
